Affiliate Disclosure
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
Being Honest With You
Name Combiner is built to provide useful naming tools and supporting information. We believe monetization should never be hidden from visitors, so this disclosure explains how affiliate links would work if they are introduced on the website.
At the moment, we have not found any active affiliate links or affiliate-program integrations in the current project. If that changes, we will update this page and place clear disclosures near monetized recommendations where required.
1. What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a way for a website to earn a commission when a visitor follows a specially tracked link and later completes a qualifying purchase or other eligible action with the merchant.
If Name Combiner uses affiliate links in the future, the merchant or affiliate network may identify that the visit came from our link. If the visitor completes a qualifying transaction, we may receive a commission from the merchant.
Affiliate links do not automatically mean that a product or service is recommended. Any recommendation should still be based on whether we think the item is relevant and useful for the page where it appears.
2. Our Current Affiliate Status
No Active Affiliate Program Found in the Current Project
We reviewed the current project and did not find active affiliate-link integrations or code identifying the site as a participant in Amazon Associates or another affiliate program.
Because of that, we do not currently describe Name Combiner as earning affiliate commissions. If we join an affiliate program later, this disclosure will be updated before or when monetized affiliate links are published.
Future Programs
We may choose to participate in reputable affiliate programs in the future. Those could include retailers, software providers, domain or hosting services, design tools, books, or other services that are genuinely relevant to naming, websites, branding, or the content on this site.
Any active program should be disclosed clearly instead of being listed here before participation actually begins.
3. How Affiliate Links Would Work
If affiliate links are introduced, a typical process may look like this:
- You open a recommendation. A page may include a clearly disclosed affiliate link.
- You follow the link. The link may contain a tracking parameter or affiliate identifier.
- You visit the merchant. The merchant handles the checkout, account, shipping, refund, or service process.
- You decide whether to buy. Purchasing is always your choice.
- We may receive a commission. If the transaction qualifies under that program's rules, the merchant may pay us a commission.
4. Our Promise to You
Your Trust Comes First
- We will not present a paid relationship as an independent recommendation.
- We will disclose affiliate relationships where required and where a visitor could reasonably miss them.
- We will not claim that an affiliate product guarantees rankings, revenue, approval, or business success.
- We will not intentionally recommend a product only because it pays a higher commission.
- We may recommend a non-affiliate option when we believe it is the better fit.
No Promise That a Product Is Right for Everyone
A product, service, hosting plan, naming resource, or software tool can be useful for one visitor and unsuitable for another. You should evaluate your own needs, budget, local laws, platform rules, and technical requirements before making a purchase.
5. Affiliate Links Do Not Cost You Extra
If we use an affiliate link in the future, the merchant generally pays any qualifying commission. You should not be charged an additional fee merely because you reached the merchant through our affiliate link.
However, prices, discounts, taxes, shipping, subscriptions, exchange rates, and promotional offers are controlled by the merchant and can change at any time. Always confirm the final price directly on the merchant's website before completing a purchase.
6. Editorial Independence and Opinions
Earning a commission should not determine the factual content of our tools or explanations. Our aim is to keep naming guidance, comparisons, and recommendations useful whether or not a monetized relationship exists.
- Affiliate status should not change how our core naming tools generate results.
- Paid relationships should be distinguished from ordinary editorial content.
- Positive and negative limitations may both be discussed when relevant.
- We may remove an affiliate relationship if it no longer fits the site's standards or audience.
7. Product Prices, Availability, and Claims
Product prices, availability, features, trial periods, discounts, policies, and specifications can change after we publish a page. A merchant's current page should be treated as the authoritative source for its current offer.
Before purchasing, check details such as:
- Current price and currency.
- Subscription or renewal terms.
- Shipping or delivery restrictions.
- Refund, cancellation, and return policies.
- Compatibility with your device, website, platform, or intended use.
8. Other Ways the Site May Be Monetized
Advertising
Name Combiner does not currently serve ads from Google AdSense, Mediavine, Ezoic, Google Ad Manager / ADX, or another third-party advertising network. If advertising is enabled later, the relevant policies and disclosures will be updated to reflect the services actually in use.
Sponsored Content
We do not currently describe any page as sponsored content unless a sponsorship actually exists. If a company pays for placement, review coverage, or sponsored material in the future, that relationship should be disclosed clearly on the relevant content.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is planned as a measurement service, not an affiliate or advertising program. Its current status is explained separately in our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
9. Clear Disclosures and FTC Principles
If affiliate relationships are introduced, we intend to make material connections clear and understandable to visitors. Disclosures should appear where a reasonable visitor can notice them before or near the recommendation they relate to, rather than being hidden only on this policy page.
Where appropriate, an affiliate disclosure may say that:
- The page contains affiliate links.
- We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
- The visitor's price is not increased simply because an affiliate link was used.
10. Your Responsibility as a Shopper
Our content can help you discover options, but the final purchasing decision is yours. Before spending money, consider your own needs and independently verify important claims.
- Read the merchant's current product or service page.
- Check current pricing and renewal terms.
- Review refund, return, and cancellation policies.
- Confirm compatibility and availability in your location.
- Consider independent reviews where the purchase is important or expensive.
- Do not purchase solely because a product appears in an article or recommendation.
11. Updates to This Disclosure
We may revise this disclosure if we join or leave an affiliate program, begin sponsored content, introduce a new monetization method, or change how affiliate links are presented.
When a material change occurs, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of the page. The goal is for this disclosure to describe real monetization practices rather than anticipated relationships that do not yet exist.
